Probe gives you access to your business metrics right on Slack. One single command is all you need to bring up your MRR, Churn or other graphs. And it's fast!

Install

You can install the Probe Slack App either via Slack App Marketplace or by clicking the 'Add to Slack' button on our main webpage. Once you install, you will have our Slack Bot welcome you. At this point you can already see graphs with demo data. Go ahead and try different Slack commands supported by our app.

Connect your data

Now that you played around with demo data, it's time to move on to the real thing. There are two ways to get your data hooked up to Probe. 

1. Connect stripe account

See the Connect Stripe button just below your demo graphs? Click it to connect your Stripe account. You will be redirected to Stripe and prompted to log into your Stripe account. When you log in, go ahead and click Connect my Stripe account. That's it! You are ready to go! If you have a lot of data, give us a few minutes to process it, get a coffee, you deserve it. We promise it is the only time you will be waiting for your data using Probe. 

Our Bot will let you know when the first part of your data is loaded and full sync is complete. Now you can view your data using our /probe command.

2. Send us your data via our public API

This is an alternative to using Stripe connect. You will have to do a little more heavy lifting here. You can find our Getting started guide and API reference here. 

To access our API you will need an authentication token. Go to Apps -> Probe -> Home on slack to see your token.
